Your Real Inbox, With an Actual Vault

Email Vault isn't a novelty app that only handles encrypted notes -- it's a genuine email client for Gmail, Outlook, and any IMAP/SMTP/POP3 account, stored in an encrypted local database. And when a message needs more privacy than the rest of your inbox, it has somewhere to go.

A Full Email Client, Encrypted at Rest

Everything you'd expect from a real inbox -- none of it stored in plaintext.

📬

Every Account, One Inbox

Gmail and Outlook via OAuth, plus manual IMAP/SMTP/POP3 setup for anything else -- unified into a single inbox, or filtered back down to one account when you need to.

🔐

Encrypted Local Database

Every message, attachment, and account credential lives in a SQLCipher-encrypted database on your device. The master key never leaves it.

📎

In-App Attachment Viewers

PDFs, audio, video, and Markdown files open right inside the app -- no need to hand every attachment off to a separate viewer app.

🔔

Background Sync, Real Notifications

New mail syncs in the background and notifies you like any other email app -- tap a notification and it opens straight to that message.

👆

Biometric Unlock & Auto-Lock

Face ID and fingerprint unlock for everyday access, with a configurable auto-lock timeout so the app locks itself back up when you step away.

🗄️

Encrypted Backup & Restore

Export your entire mailbox -- messages and attachments -- to a single encrypted archive, and restore it on a new device with your master password or recovery code.

Not Just Another Mail App

The Vault, Inside Your Inbox

A normal inbox is already a soft target -- forwarded links, shared devices, an app left unlocked on a desk. The Vault is where the messages that actually matter go instead.

1

Flag any message into the Vault from your normal inbox -- it moves into a separate, distinctly encrypted view, not just a label on an otherwise-visible email.

2

Vaulted messages stay out of the regular inbox list -- browsing your day-to-day mail doesn't mean scrolling past the messages you moved somewhere more private.

3

The same master password and recovery code protect both -- there's no separate vault password to forget, and no separate recovery flow to manage.

Coming soon: zero-knowledge cross-device sync, shared with Password Vault and File Vault under one Vault Suite premium entitlement -- the server only ever sees encrypted blobs.
